1. German Adventure Golf Masters in Winterberg

Zum ersten Mal in Deutschland wird ein offizielles Turnier auf einer Adventuregolf-Anlage stattfinden. Am 23. und 24.09.23 wird die German Adventure Golf Masters (GAGM) in Winterberg ausgetragen. Das Turnier ist international offen und Bestandteil der World Adventure Golf Tour (WAGT). Es haben auch schon ein paar ausländische Spieler Interesse bekundet.

Aus Deutschland können alle aktiven und passiven Spieler, sogar Hobbyspieler, teilnehmen.

Der Platz scheint recht interessant zu sein. Die Art der Anlage ist der in Gumpoldskirchen, wo ich im Juni die WAGM mitgespielt habe, durchaus ähnlich. Gumpoldskirchen ist eine sehr anspruchsvolle, aber auch sehr interessante Anlage. Die Pötts waren sehr schwierig und trainingsintensiv. Das Pötten wird in Winterberg aber einfacher sein. Asse scheinen etliche möglich zu sein.

Letztes Jahr habe ich kurz in Winterberg trainiert. Mein Pistenplan ist bisher nur rudimentär. Andere haben dort aber vor kurzem intensiver trainiert und bis zu 7 Asse in einer Trainingsrunde gemacht. Hat jemand von Euch schon Erfahrungen? Gerne können wir unsere Erfahrungen hier teilen.

Die Fotos sind sortiert in der Reihenfolge der Bahnen. Wenn Ihr die Maus ein paar Sekunden über einem Bild stehen lasst, popped ein Text auf, um welche Bahn es sich handelt.

Ergänzend zu meinen Bildern der Bahnen können auch die Bilder von der Homepage des Platzbetreibers nützlich sein. Dort hat man die Bahnen in der Draufsicht und kann sich daraus einen Pisten- oder Pöttplan vorbereiten:

For the international players again in English.

For the first time ever there will be an official competition on a German Adventure Golf course. The German Adventure Golf Masters (GAGM) will take place in Winterberg on the 23. and 24.09. The competition ist open for all international players and is part of the World Adventure Golf Masters (WAGT).

The course is quite interesting. The style of the lanes is partly similar to that of the WAGM in Gumpoldskirchen, but the lanes are mostly shorter and putts are easier. Aces seem to be possible on several lanes. I only had a very short practice last year, so my course notes are rudimentary so far. But a friend from another club has had a more thorough practice and got a round with 7 aces.

I took detailed photos of all lanes last year which might be helpful for you to get a first impression of the course:

The photos are in the order of the lanes 1 - 18. If you keep the pointer above an image for a few seconds you will see a text showing which lane it is.

Winterberg is a famous winter sport location in the middle of Germany. It is in the countryside within a beautiful scenery. Public transport is poor in that area, so if you come by train or plane it's recommendable to hire a rental car.

The Adventure Golf course is not directly in Winterberg. It's at the small village Hildfeld very close to Winterberg. As an example here is a link to a research for accommodations in or near Hildfeld at booking.com. There should be many hotels, b&bs and self catering flats available in the neighbourhood:

Wie viele Meldungen sind für die GAGM eingekommen ?

Ich vermisse meinen violetten FunForKids. Ich habe ihn wohl beim Training zur GAGM in Winterberg verloren. Wahrscheinlich am Trailpark, der Bahn 15. Ich erinnere mich noch, daß ich ein Dutzend schnelle Bälle getestet habe und dann schnell die Bälle aus dem Endkreis nehmen musste, weil hinter mir eine Gruppe kam. Wahrscheinlich ist der Ball links über die Bande gegangen und lag dann neben dem Endkreis.
