the finish of the ball is not completely flat , but still very smooth so that can't be defined as a rough one :

NC 2005 Steyr KL with " gummilack " : this is one of the last balls painted by me with the transparent lack for rubberboats ( around 2007 ).
it was a paint I used for soft balls ( like K2-K9-K12-K13 ) and for Deutschmann balls of the " 080 " series . I don't use it now as this paint is not anymore produced.
the finish is extremely flat due to the high flexibility and very small thickness of the paint.

fs : bof Aponense Damen IMM 2002 KL : I have painted the ball with transparent gummi-lack in 2003 ;
as the ball was produced only in KR and KX .. this is the only one I have seen in KL finish.

fs 3D Paderno/Herren IMM 2005 KL ( very thin transparent gummi-lack ) : painted in 2006 when the rohling was new ( only 1 ball painted ) , played very few times ( just to test it ).
